Those Buttermilk Bites at the Malt House Are Calling Your Name

While spring (allegedly) is on the horizon, we’re still getting hit with that fickle March weather that makes the warmer days seem way too far away. On the bright side, there are some good consolation methods downtown. As if we haven’t already given you enough options for tasty indulgences on these cold days, consider the buttermilk chicken bites at the Malt House (9 Maiden Ln.): Southern-style fried pieces of chicken, paired with cilantro and aioli dipping sauces. They look good, right?

The $8 item pairs well with those $6 draft beers and sweet cocktails that are listed in columns of two on their happy hour menu, an excuse enough to keep happy inside while you wait for shorts season.
