Manhatta Delivers Top-Notch Cuisine With A Side Of Stunning Vistas

Jason Pfeifer, executive chef at Manhatta, loves the outdoors: “I like to be on top of a mountain and see these epic and beautiful views.”

Fortunately for the alum of such celebrated kitchens at Per Se and Gramercy Tavern, his dream job is located 60 floors above the heart of Downtown: From Manhatta, at 28 Liberty Street, where you can see for miles. “Every day I get to walk into my kitchen and this is what I look out on,” Pfeifer said.

As high up as the dining room sits — offering top-notch cuisine with a side of stunning city vistas — Manhatta is by no means above being a comfortable neighborhood restaurant, where friends can stop in for drinks and families can gather for weekend brunch. Get a glimpse of what you’ll see from this Lower Manhattan mountain peak in the Downtown Alliance’s new video.
