Pixar-Themed Mini-Golf Comes To Battery Park City In August
We’re going to have to start calling that robot BALL-E! A miniature golf course featuring beloved Pixar characters from “Toy Story,” “Finding Nemo,” “Soul,” “Monsters, Inc.” and the rest of the Pixar-verse is set to open August 1 in Battery Park City.
The Disney-approved 18-hole course, called Pixar Putt, will be on Pier A Plaza, near Battery Place and West Street, through the end of October. Tickets can be purchased at pixarputt.com.
The course is coming to the neighborhood following its Australian debut, where it was a hit, the company said. Expect characters from most hit Pixar films at this course, including “The Incredibles,” “Onward,” “Inside Out,” “Up,” “The Good Dinosaur,” “Ratatouille” and “Coco.”
The 5,400-square-foot course will cost $24.50 for kids and $34.50 for adults, with discounts for families and other folks. It is unclear if there will be a John Ratzenberger hole, or if any of the obstacles will make you sob uncontrollably with feelings.
