To Celebrate Pride Month, Crank Up the Downtown Alliance’s Latest Spotify Playlist

Now’s your chance to blast some Janelle Monae the next time you’re wandering through Stone Street on your lunch break. To celebrate New York’s queer communities that have strived for equal rights since the Stonewall Uprising, the Downtown Alliance’s Spotify channel has launched a “Listen with Pride” playlist, so you’ll be able to soundtrack Pride Month with some incredible music.

Complete with King Princess’s “1950” and Frank Ocean’s “Forrest Gump,” the playlist keeps the hits coming with more decades-spanning tracks from Ma Rainey (“Prove It On Me Blues”), Ezra Furman (“Body Was Made”), the Psychedelic Furs (“Love My Way”), k.d. lang (“Constant Craving”) and plenty more.
