Restaurant Week: 21 Tasty Kitchens Participating in Lower Manhattan

Big scoop for New Yorkers into bargain eats at fine-dining establishments: Restaurant Week is back with a vengeance, giving everyone reeling from the pangs of inflation an opportunity to scarf down some of the best dishes the city has to offer.

Lower Manhattan in particular has quite an assortment on deck for affordable prix-fixe menus, beginning Monday, July 24. At Pier 17’s Italian chophouse Carne Mare, for instance, lunch and brunch menus are $45 per person. On the 101st floor of the World Trade Center, ONE Dine is doing a $60 lunch (which also includes the ticket for the ride up!). Tom Colicchio’s Temple Court is preparing a three-course meal for a nifty $60.

The following is a list of local favorites that are participating:

  • Anassa Taverna (104 North End Ave.)
  • Barbalu (225-227 Front St.)
  • The Black Hound (301 South End Ave.)
