A Top Secret Concert Is Heading to Conwell Coffee & Cocktail Hall

Big news, Lower Manhattan: Sofar Sounds is bringing its intimate and, dare we say, top secret musical performances to the neighborhood in May. The Downtown Alliance has partnered with the famed global music presenters for a May 14 show at Conwell Coffee & Cocktail Hall (6 Hanover St.), where attendees will get to see three yet-to-be-announced emerging artists perform in the gorgeous former bank hall.
Sofar Sounds has been organizing music events in unconventional spaces since its founding in London in 2009, expanding globally over the years and bolstering the careers of then-unknowns like Billie Eilish, Jack Harlow and Wolf Alice. The company has an uncanny ability to transform places like museums, living rooms and retailers into spectacular music venues. Conwell Coffee & Cocktail Hall, which is located in a former Art Deco bank hall and is one of the most beautiful spots to grab breakfast or post-work drinks in the neighborhood, is sure to be a Sofar Sounds venue for the books (plus you’ll be able to get your hands on some delectable cocktails). We just can’t wait!
