Lest you thought your stomach would get a break after Lunch Box on October 7, the next big food event is just around the corner. On October 25, head to Piers 16 and 17 for the Taste of the Seaport, a veritable feast featuring bites from more than 50 of your downtown faves.
The festival, which runs from noon to 5 p.m., will offer mini portions from the likes of Carne Mare, Delmonico’s, La Marchande, Malibu Farm, the Fulton and T. Brasserie and Lower Manhattan hotspot Old Mates. Attendees can also sip on bevvies from local bar Peck Slip Social, run by Taste of the Seaport founders Alex Davis and Learan Kahanov. If you’re bringing the little ones, stop by the KidZone for free family-friendly activities; there’ll also be live music, culminating with headliner Timmy Skelly.
