Are you a fan of delicious flavor? Mark your calendars because a Thai food and culture festival is coming to 28 Liberty St. On September 18, the TASTES of Thai SELECT festival will transform Fosun Plaza, offering the lunchtime crowd 14 food vendors certified as Thai SELECT, an official certification awarded by the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand to recognize and promote authentic Thai cuisine worldwide. The daytime festival will also feature live cultural performances, including Thai dancers in traditional costumes, as well as cooking demonstrations and sponsored booths. There will even be a costume booth where you can take a photo with the dancers or try on traditional Thai costumes yourself.
The TASTES of Thai SELECT is a free public event that will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, stay tuned to the festival’s eventbrite page.
