The Name’s Wall, Willy Wall

The Name’s Wall, Willy Wall

August 5, 2025

Somehow summer is nearly halfway through, which is either devastating or, if you’ve already sweat through all your t-shirts, a quiet relief. No matter where you fall on the spectrum, August is the month to cross off all your summer bucket list items — and might we recommend adding a visit aboard the Honorable William Wall to the agenda?

Operated by the Manhattan Yacht Club and anchored in the New York Harbor, the William Wall (or, as it’s affectionately known, the Willy Wall) is a two-story bar…ge with a full bar and incredible skyline views. You can access the Willy Wall by hopping on a Jersey City-bound ferry from Brookfield Place; hop off at the Warren Street stop to get to the Manhattan Yacht Club’s base, where you’ll be able to hop on the “Admiral’s Launch” for a short boat ride to the floating clubhouse. Once onboard, grab a drink, have a bite (food is BYO) and look out for some stunning Harbor sunsets.

The Willy Wall is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from May to October; you can grab tickets and make reservations here
