28 Women-Owned Businesses to Visit in March

March 2, 2026

March is Women’s History Month, a time to reflect on the many contributions women have made for centuries — since the dawn of time, one might say. It’s also a moment to give some extra attention to the many women-owned businesses in Lower Manhattan. These include a mix of stores, services, restaurants and more that will keep you busy all month and hopefully inspire you to support them all year long. Though we know you’re already doing that!

Note that this is not a definitive list, but a sampling of some of the great women-owned establishments you can find in the neighborhood. For more downtown businesses, be sure to check out our Shop Dine Guide .
