Peruvian spot Artesano opened in October, bringing a taste of South America to downtown.. Chef Rodrigo Fernandini has transplanted his famed Andean dishes up from St. Petersburg, Florida, where his restaurant Ayllu is a local sensation. On Chambers Street, you'll find a wealth of Peruvian dishes, including ceviche, grilled octopus and pisco. Tasting menus, cocktails and impressive plating and presentation round out the experience, and the 45-seat space is inviting for diners.
