When completed, the site will become the heart and soul of Downtown: a fitting memorial for those who perished and a tribute to the resilience and strength of New Yorkers.”
Mr. Daniels discussed the opening of the 9/11 Memorial in September 2011 and logistics for managing the millions of expected visitors. He also provided an update on the ongoing construction of the 9/11 Memorial Museum, and announced the Memorial Names Layout at the site.
