Downtown Alliance Announces New 2010 Shopping and Dining Guides

The Alliance for Downtown New York today announced the publication of its free 2010 Dining and Shopping Guides, which include more than 1,500 restaurants, museums, bars, retailers and organizations and services. “Our Shopping and Dining Guides are the perfect companion for anyone who lives or works in, or visits Lower Manhattan,” said Elizabeth H. Berger, President of the Downtown Alliance. “From historic sites to world-class shopping to a truly eclectic selection of dining options, there is something for everyone here – and it’s all within walking distance.”

The free guides are now categorized for convenience – using color-coded tabs – so readers can easily access information and descriptions about full-service restaurants, delis, bars, retailers, museums and business services. The guides also feature artwork from renowned French artist Philippe Lechien, whose whimsical Fire Escape painting has graced subway car walls since 2008.
