DOWNTOWN ALLIANCE SPOTLIGHTS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND EVENTS IN LOWER MANHATTAN

The Alliance for Downtown New York, the city’s largest Business Improvement District, has highlighted a number of events taking place in Lower Manhattan this Memorial Day Weekend, including the Big Apple Run For The Warriors®. Proceeds from the race will benefit Hope for the Warriors®, a non-profit organization that assists wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen.

“We invite visitors and residents to come Downtown for something fun or interesting to do, and to take advantage of the Memorial Day Weekend specials that neighborhood retailers are offering,” said Elizabeth H. Berger, president of the Downtown Alliance. “The Big Apple Run For The Warriors® is just one of the many exciting events taking place in Lower Manhattan this holiday weekend.”

The Downtown Alliance is co-sponsoring the inaugural Big Apple Run For The Warriors®.
