Downtown Alliance Statement on One World Trade Center

Alliance for Downtown New York President Elizabeth H. Berger issued the following statement on 1 World Trade Center becoming the tallest building in New York City:

“Lower Manhattan, the nation’s fourth largest central business district, has been home to more of the world’s tallest skyscrapers since the first one defined the New York City skyline.  Today, One World Trade Center enters the record books once again as Lower Manhattan reaches new heights.  Congratulations to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey on this soaring achievement.”
