California Wine Merchants will be holding free wine tastings on the Monday and Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving. Stop by, taste some wines, and stock up for the holiday. Monday will feature the shop's new hand-picked selection of South African wines, and Tuesday will offer affordable California wines for this all-American holiday.

Evacuation Day Tour Hosted by Fraunces Tavern Museum

Take a walking tour and trace the footsteps of General Washington from his entrance into the city and try to picture Broadway from Chambers Street down to Fraunces Tavern as it looked 227 years ago. Participants will see where the Liberty Boys challenged the Redcoats on their own parade ground and learn about the people of New York and what it was like for them as they were caught up in the revolution. Two-hundred-plus years may not seem that long ago after all.
Tickets are $20 each ($15 for Fraunces Tavern Museum members) and are required in advance. The starting location will be revealed to ticket buyers at the time of purchase.
