Downtown Alliance Announces Lower Manhattan Will Host 2025 WITS Travel Creator Summit
NEW YORK (April 15, 2024) — The Downtown Alliance and Wanderful announced that the 2025 WITS Travel Creator Summit will take place in Lower Manhattan in May of 2025. The annual event brings together tourism professionals, entrepreneurs and influencers from across the globe to discuss future innovations, build dynamic collaborations and change travel worldwide, all while supporting and empowering a dynamic community of women and gender diverse people.
WITS will bring up to 800 travel influencers to Lower Manhattan— each with an average reach of 100k followers, and dozens of brands — from international travel corporations to small emerging businesses and startups. Attendees learn skills to strengthen their work and grow their brands, and companies make powerful connections with builders who are the voices and gatekeepers for consumers.
“We’re looking forward to pulling out all the stops to welcome WITS to Lower Manhattan in 2025,” said Jessica Lappin, President of the Downtown Alliance. “This neighborhood is where New York City began and today features many of the city’s most well-known attractions, bustling and diverse food and cultural scenes as well as being home to many of the world’s leading brands and key industries. What better backdrop to inspire learning and growth opportunities for the many creators who will visit next year’s summit.”
“We are so excited to be bringing the next WITS Travel Creator Summit to New York City in 2025,” said Beth Santos, CEO of Wanderful. “We couldn’t think of a better place to convene content creators, innovators, and thought leaders from across the globe to learn new skills, collaborate, and change the travel industry worldwide while also having the opportunity to explore all that Lower Manhattan has to offer.”
The Summit will be held at a new event space at 28 Liberty St. in Lower Manhattan from May 16 to May 18, 2025. Lower Manhattan was announced as the venue selection during the 2024 Summit that just ended in Utah.
