Cocktail Bar La Noxe Brings a Dose of Glam to Broadway

February 3, 2025

Open a hidden side door at the entrance of 111 Broadway and you’ll find La Noxe, a sexy, moody cocktail lounge overlooking Trinity Church and cemetery. Though at this spot, the only thing that will haunt you is the drink you didn’t try.

La Noxe’s new downtown venue — a year and a half in the making — follows several years of success at its original location in the Chelsea neighborhood. The expertly curated vibes, drinks and service of both spaces are similar, but the dark, sultry interiors at the Trinity location, accented by the building’s Gothic architectural detailing (even stained glass!) make this a wholly unique experience.

Many martinis and creative cocktails — served beautifully ice-cold — fill the menu, including a vodka, lemon, rosemary and raspberry creation called the Anora, and the Midas Touch, a mixture of rum, brown butter, lemon, honey and Angostura bitters. There’s also an upscale bar food selection that sounds particularly delicious: Hamachi crudo, Nantucket Bay scallops and a gourmet grilled cheese are some of the standouts.

Open six nights a week until 1 a.m., the intimate lounge space also has plans to have a (relatively) late night D.J. in the near future. Walk-ins are welcome, but you might want to make reservations to ensure a seat for you and your party.
