Governors Island Alliance Family Festival and Opening Day

Governors Island will re-open to the public on Saturday May 26th and will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through September 30. From Noon to 4PM will be the Governors Island Alliance Family Festival. This will be the 8th Opening Weekend Family Festival the Governors Island Alliance has hosted on the Island. Children and their families will gather in Nolan Park on Governors Island to enjoy music, theater, dance, arts & crafts, face painting, maritime education and more. Performances will run throughout the day with artists such as Astrograss, The Maybelles, and Arm of the Sea Theater.

Tourism kiosks will be closed Monday and open 10AM – 5PM on Saturday and Sunday
