Did You Know That PAC NYC’s Lobby Hosts Free Concerts?

March 24, 2026

The Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) is the spot to grab tickets to some of the most exciting, inventive and emerging art in the form of dance, theater and music in Lower Manhattan. But some of the best reasons to visit the space require no tickets at all.

The PAC NYC lobby hosts free music and entertainment several nights a week from a diverse array of artists: classic ensembles, banjo acts, family friendly entertainment, dancing lasso-twirlers, DJs and more.

Upcoming acts include Allison Strong (March 26), a NJ State Council on the Arts music fellow whose music and story were featured in Diego Luna’s documentary series “Back Home”; Steph.fm (April 10), a musician who has toured with artists such as Kels, Fana Hues and Raveena; and French Senegalese singer Sateen (April 11).

This season, the free live shows are focused on what PAC NYC calls “diverse curators who cultivate bonds between artists and communities.” See the full lineup here.

The shows are free and open to the public, and no tickets are required. They’re also a great excuse to also check out Metropolis, the Marcus Samuelsson restaurant designed by David Rockwell inside the PAC NYC. The lobby lounge makes it easy to pair a drink with the free entertainment, and there’s a landscaped outdoor terrace when the weather’s nice.

And if you like what you see at the free shows, consider becoming a member of PAC NYC: you’ll get early access to even more great art going on in Lower Manhattan.
