If you’ve ever had a cocktail followed by a craving for a bagel (or vice-versa for that matter), this one’s for you. Boobliq Bagel Bistro (Russian for “bagel”) at 150 Broadway wears many hats: the modern spot serves everything from sesame bagels with schmear and a latte in the morning to miso ginger black cod with a dirty martini in the evening. Part breakfast cafe, part evening lounge, you can pull up at the “bagel bistro” between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. for any combination of breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee or cocktails.
It’s also spacious — there are plenty of tables with seating to eat and work at during the day, and there’s a shiny bar to pull up a seat and watch the game later on. There are iPads near the entrance on Liberty Street so you can quickly browse the menu and place to-go orders if you’re short on time, but chances are you’ll want to stay a while. The new spot has a full menu starting at 4 p.m. of soups, salads, starters, main courses and desserts in addition to its signature bagel crostinis. There are also happy hour deals featuring $10 classic cocktails like cosmopolitans, margaritas and Aperol spritzes and a special small plates menu available Tuesday through Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. Check it out!
