Animation Nights Kicks-Off Best of Fest

Animation Nights New York is a curated monthly screening event and annual festival held in NYC showcasing animated short films and virtual reality animation experiences from all around the world.

This year their annual festival is returning to the South Street Seaport District so get ready to bask in amazement at their upcoming Best of Fest.

For two days only, October 6-7, you can check out everything from animation screenings, a fine art installation, VR presentations, an XR showcase, industry events, and professional panels.

Features this year include: Screenings of ‘Goose in High Heels’ directed by John R. Dilworth, Oscar predictive animation screenings curated and co-presented by Benoit Berthe Siward, and special VR and AR experiences.

While you’re there, be sure to stop by the 2018 ANNY Cannes Program showcase and the 2018 ANNY Best of Fest showcase featuring winners from Animation Nights New York’s monthly screenings of competitive films.

This event is free to the public, but for exclusive access to all Best of Fest has to offer, pre-registration for the Emerging Technology Animation Showcase, and all Industry Events, an Industry badge is required and available for purchase online.
