Help Bowling Green Park Leap Into Spring

Want to help beautify Lower Manhattan and make an environmental contribution at the same time? We’re hosting a volunteer event to check off both boxes. Come out to Bowling Green Park on leap day — Saturday, February 29 — at 10a to spread compost on planting beds.

Composting provides an effective means of simultaneously nourishing the land and sustainably decomposing waste. So come get your hands dirty.
