Help the MTA Distribute Free Face Masks to Commuters

Here’s your chance to stop complaining about maskless people on the subways and start doing something about it: The MTA is seeking volunteers to hand out free masks to riders on Tuesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 22. The goal is to encourage 100% mask compliance, and keep everyone safe (and free from conflict with other riders, naturally). 

In thanks for your good citizenry, you will receive one of these nifty yellow MTA shirts that will make you the envy of every railfan in the city. 

Mask Force squads will be posted at big transit hubs around the city, including Times Square and Atlantic Center. Sign up for a shift here
