Run or walk in commemoration of the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11 with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, which is hosting its annual nationwide run/walk on April 25.

Per the Memorial’s website:

Thousands unite across the country to ensure that the 9/11 Memorial & Museum can continue its essential mission of commemoration, education and inspiration. Together, we’ll collectively run and walk 20,000 miles as we fulfill our promise never to forget almost 20 years later. It’s never been more important to stay connected, so register today and get ready to run and walk together.

Interested? Here’s how to participate:

  • Registration is free, but anyone can fundraise. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum encourages a minimum donation of $25, but no amount is required. After signing up, participants will be invited to create their own fundraising page
  • Want to run with your coworkers? Corporate teams comprised of at least five employees will receive access to exclusive benefits
