This Weekend at the Seaport: Hester Street Fair’s Vinyl, Artisanal Goods

The Hester Street Fair has temporarily transplanted from, well, Hester Street to The Seaport this year, which is good news for us if not for haters of obsolete names. This weekend, you can score sweets, treats and other artisanal goodies soundtracked to all-day live DJs spinning vinyl — a  perfect entry into fall.

On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., DJs from DutyFreeRecords Mobile Record Shop (NYC’s first mobile record shop) and Full Effects Print will be spinning and selling records, so you can jam out and add to your collection at the same time. There’ll also be a slew of vendors hawking goods. 

From the Hester Street Fair:

• CMarty’s Jerk | Come back for another one of his famous jerk Bahn Mis and save room for the incredible nachos
• World’s Wurst | A husband and wife owned restaurant in Greenwich Village serving delicious Oktoberfest classics along with some extra tasty sides. 
• Food Archive | Elegant sweets from a first-time vendor.
• Gracie Baked |Fun nostalgic baking business specializing in cookie squares and trifle jars. Enjoy some unexpected flavors 🙂
• Music Love and Chocolate Chips | Hester Street Fair runs if Music Love and Chocolate Chips. We love this team and we love their $3 iced coffee!
• Sheralyn’s Bakery | Our favorite sweet potato pie and red velvet cake!
• Art is for Everyone | An eclectic mix of portraits, pop art and mixed media pieces that address a myriad of topics and honor diverse individuals
• Finding Doll | A fun and funky fashion picnic for all who are looking for sustainable style
• Glam Gardener | A business that houses wild-foraged herbal products, art, sustainability education + community advocacy under one roof
• Easy Seda | Silky, sultry, and sweet vintage pieces that adds another level to your self-care 
• Perry Boyce | Fragrances offering urban luxe + eclectic home scents for a unique home environment
• Tara Sommer | Local artist and newcomer to the fair
