JSR Shoe Repair Will Make Even Your Sneakers Look Brand New

Living in the most walkable city in the country has many benefits, but the streets of New York do turn every pair of shoes into a preschool art project. (Or…these?) JSR Shoe Repair, tucked away on the Lower Level of 120 Broadway, will restore your finest leather wingtips, daily walking shoes and even your sneakers back to the true masterpieces you purchased in the first place. 

Owner Roman Gomez has been in business for nearly a decade. In addition to cleaning shoes and sneakers and doing general shoe repair, he changes watch batteries, copies keys, and repairs leather goods like handbags and jackets. Pricing for shoe repair and other services vary; a shoe shine is $8 for a half-boot or regular pair of shoes, $10 for a full boot.

Gomez will turn a shoe repair around in one or two days, and you can drop off shoes for a quick cleaning. But if you like an old school shoeshine, Gomez is your guy. His favorite part of the job is cleaning shoes in-person. 

JSR Shoe Repair is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. through 6 p.m.
