12 Films You Can See At Pier 17’s Dinner-And-A-Movie Series
For those of us who miss the silver screen, The Rooftop at Pier 17 has unveiled “Seaport Cinema”: an ongoing dinner-and-a-movie series featuring beloved classics in a socially distant, outdoor, green restaurant space. The events take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through October 14.
Tickets are free, but space is limited. So don’t wait to reserve.
The movie lineup was curated by popular vote, and it features a solid array of ‘90s comedies, family-friendly adventures, and recent crowd-pleasers like “Crazy Rich Asians.” Want to sip pineapple coladas with friends while muttering along to the entire script of “Mean Girls”? You can do that on September 8. Or, enjoy the sunset with your family as an asteroid hurtles toward Bruce Willis and company in “Armageddon”? Circle October 13 on your calendar.
Each ticket gets you a 14×14 mini-lawn of green space for up to eight people, with cabana-style chairs, Yeti coolers, charging stations, waterfront views and, naturally, a big-screen blockbuster.
Reservations open at 7p, with the movies starting promptly at 8p. View the menu here.
