Sign Up for the 9/11 Memorial’s Annual 5K Run/Walk

Run or walk in commemoration of the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11 with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk presented by RXR, which is hosting its 10th annual run/walk on Sunday, April 24.

Per the Memorial’s website

We’re thrilled to announce that the 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk is back in person this year! As our city continues to demonstrate its resilience, it will be especially meaningful to join with you now, more than 20 years after the 9/11 attacks, to remember all those killed and honor the brave first responders who ran toward danger to save others. All funds raised from the 2022 Run/Walk support educational programming to ensure the millions of Americans born since 9/11 can better understand how we responded that day and in the days that followed – with unity, resilience and hope.

Interested? Here’s how to participate:

  • Registration is now open. Use code “DTA22” for $10 off, and, after signing up, participants will be invited to share their own fundraising page on social media using #911Memorial5K. (Be sure to tag the Museum on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.)

  • Want to run with your coworkers? Corporate teams will receive access to exclusive benefits.

The Run/Walk is also adhering to all Covid-related guidelines to keep its participants safe. Any other questions before you tie your laces on April 24? Email [email protected] to learn more or to register your corporate team today. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
