Stout NYC (90 John St.) is more than just an excellent spot for a post-work hang; it’s also an essential partner to the New York Blood Center, hosting regular blood donation drives to help save lives. If you’d like to contribute, next month, the neighborhood restaurant-bar will host two blood drives: on Monday, August 5 and on Monday, August 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Post-blood donation treats consist of juice and cookies, but this time you get that and a gift certificate for a free pint of beer from Stout, though we recommend waiting a day or two before cashing it in. Or not. Up to you! Bonus: if you’ve donated at any New York Blood Center in the past 30 dates, you can still score that pint if you bring in your receipt.
Blood drive walk-ins are welcome, but Stout NYC recommends booking a reservation in advance, which you can do right here.
