Get a Free Mammogram at Zuccotti Park This Saturday

To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NewYork-Presbyterian has partnered with Project Renewal to host a Breast Health Fair this Saturday at Zuccotti Park. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, you can meet breast radiologists from Weill Cornell Medicine and other vendors who will be offering free consultations, educational resources and even prizes.

You can also get a free mammogram; Project Renewal will have their ScanVan parked at 117 Trinity Place next to the park, where anyone can come and get a scan, with no insurance or prescriptions required. Walk-in availability will be limited, so we recommend calling ahead (646-415-7932) to make an appointment in advance.

Data has shown that early detection saves lives. Saturday’s fair is a great opportunity to get information about breast health, cancer risk factors and prevention, so even if you don’t need a mammogram, it’s worth stopping by to learn more.
