Here’s the Lineup for Brookfield Place’s New Free Film Series
April 6, 2026
It doesn’t feel like it this week, but we’re thisclose to outdoor movie season — and thankfully, Brookfield Place is launching an indoor film series that’ll tide us over until we can finally watch a 1990s romcom under the stars.
For two weekends (April 24 – May 2), Brookfield will transform the Winter Garden into a palm-filled pop-up cinema, complete with complimentary popcorn and candy treats from SmartSweets. Dubbed “Movies Under the Palms,” the series includes family-friendly throwback flicks and two sing-a-long screenings. See the schedule below:
Throwbacks
“Hook” — Friday, April 24 at 5 p.m.
“Ratatouille” — Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m.
Sing-alongs
“Annie” — Friday, May 1 at 5 p.m.
“The Wizard of Oz” — Saturday, May 2 at 1 p.m.
Brookfield says attendees can also expect a few pre-show activities, plus hungry moviegoers can grab grub from Hudson Eats to munch on during the film. A glorious weekend activity, indeed.
