One of downtown’s best deals is the Downtown Connection, a free circulator bus service run by the Downtown Alliance. We recently outfitted the Downtown Connection with a new GPS-tracking system, and now it’s even easier to get around the neighborhood.
To keep an eye on the Downtown Connection as it makes its 36 stops around the neighborhood, riders should download the Passio Go! app through the iPhone App Store or Google Play. You can find the map by opening the app, clicking “My Agency” in the menu in the top left corner and scrolling down to select “Free Downtown Connection NY.” Desktop users can access the map at this link or through our bus page.
As a reminder, daily service starts at 10 a.m. and ends with a final run at 7:30 p.m. Buses run every 15 minutes and make 36 stops around the perimeter of the neighborhood. And, most importantly, the service is totally free. Keep an eye out for the red buses while you’re out and about, and time your commute with the map!
