The China Institute Wants to Introduce You to Some “Damn Good Chinese Food”

Mark your calendars for June 15, when author and East Wing Snack Shop dumpling king Chris Cheung sits down with LUCKYRICE entrepreneur Danielle Chang at the China Institute (40 Rector Street). The topic of discussion? All of Chinatown’s myriad flavors, and the 50 recipes packed inside Cheung’s new book “Damn Good Chinese Food.”

Cheung’s book reveals all the takeout and holes in the wall that he grew up around in Chinatown, and, naturally, where he learned to perfect the art of making a scrumptious dumpling.

Copies of “Damn Good Chinese Food” will be available for purchase, and don’t eat beforehand. Cheung will have some East Wind appetizers in circulation. Get tickets for the event here
