New Yorkers love to walk even in the toughest of weather situations, but if you spot our bright-red FREE bus service around the corner, you gotta hop on for an air-conditioned ride in these brutal temps! 

Remember that the Downtown Alliance’s Downtown Connection bus operates daily and is still 100% free. With five state-of-the-art buses and 36 stops around the perimeter of Lower Manhattan, the Downtown Connection is NYC’s only free circulator bus service. No reason to show up at the grocery store dripping with sweat, unless you’re into that kind of thing.
