Funny Business In Lower Manhattan

If laughter is the best medicine, then LMHQ has just what you need this flu season.  On Feb. 1^st, check out “The Business of Comedy.”  Attendees get to see what it takes to make a career in comedy and everything that goes into some of pop culture’s funniest programs.

Including some big names in the business:

Taylor Moore, creator of the “very real fake magazine” Fortunate Horse (and curator of all things comedy at Kickstarter) who will be moderating;

Justine Giannino, of IFC TV and one of Cablefax’s 2015 “overachievers Under 30”;

Jasmine Pierce, writer at Reductress and for the podcast Mouth Time, contributor to many publications (like Funny or Die and CollegeHumor) and a founding member of the sketch team Fun with Jerks;

And J.D Amato, writer for “The Chris Gethard Show” and executive producer of a “comedy advice show” to premiere on Seeso on Feb. 23^rd.
