GET A NEW LOOK FOR THE NEW YEAR AT ZARA

The wait is over: Zara’s Lower Manhattan store is open! The wildly popular Spanish sportswear and accessories chain is now offering its trendy, affordable apparel for men, women and children at the corner of Ann and Broadway (222 Broadway).

Hailing from Galicia, Spain, Zara opened its first store in 1975.  Once it proved a success, founders Amancio Ortega and Rosalia Mera began opening more Zara stores throughout Spain. In 1989, it made its U.S. debut. Now, Zara boasts over 2,000 locations in 88 countries worldwide, making it the world’s largest fashion retailer.

The company’s commitment to the environment is part of its official mission statement.  All its stores are eco-friendly, and its clothing is manufactured using ecological fabrics and organic cotton. Biodiesel fuel is used to transport them.

With New Year’s Eve quickly approaching, Zara is the ultimate spot for that perfect party dress. It’s open seven days a week, so don’t miss out on all the great deals and winter styles.
