Get Low At Le District’s Bar A Vin

By: Joseph Ferris

It’s Paris on the Hudson this week with 20% off at Le District’s Bar A Vin, this week’s Get Low restaurant deal.

Bar A Vin sits in the center of it all inside Le District, Battery Park City’s French food hall. The circular bar/restaurant is surrounded by in-house cheeses, charcuterie, delicious desserts, plus butchers, fishmongers – so you know your meal will be fresh. While the cheese boards are not eligible for the Get Low deal, you can still happily order it as a starter, before your Steak Frites, Market Oysters, and Apple Tarte Tartin dessert. And don’t forget to pair all of that with one (or more) of their rotating menu of 32 French wines.

Le District is like taking a quick jaunt to Paris, and Bar A Vin is that great little spot you just happen to sit down in, and end up having the easiest, most delicious French meal of your whole trip. See you there!

Make A Night Of It

Meet at the Sphere
Need a meeting spot for your Get Low dinner for two? Impress your date (or your mom) by suggesting a little known spot up on Liberty Plaza – Fritz Koenig’s Sphere. Originally placed between the twin towers, The Sphere was discovered in the rubble after the attacks, and stood as a symbol of resilience – damaged, but wholly intact. Today, the sculpture overlooks the new World Trade Center complex and its original location.
