A Grace Period for New Waste Set-Out Times

Waste times are changing. To reduce the piles of bags on the curb, new rules for setting out trash, recycling and curbside composting will go into effect on April 1. However, the Department of Sanitation has established a grace period throughout the month of April and will not issue fines to those who aren’t up to speed.
