There’s another reason to visit the South Street Seaport. Joining the historic ships, cobblestone streets, and great shops and restaurants is a new pop-up store offering an “eclectic mix of fashion, design, art, food & beverage in a curated environment.”

Seaport Studios, located on the corner of Fulton and Front Streets, is the result of a partnership between the Howard Hughes Corporation and Women’s Wear Daily. Inspired by the Seaport’s maritime history, the space offers the latest from emerging fashion designers.  The first level features a retail space, and the second level hosts an art gallery and lounge.

The store showcases the trendiest high fashion brands, such as Baja East, Rochambeau, Jennifer Fisher, and Union Boards and creates a “retail environment without limitations.”

One of many new shops enlivening New York’s oldest new neighborhood, this pop-up brings some pizazz to the Seaport. If you want to shop like an A-list star for a lower price, Seaport Studios is worth a visit.
