Join La Marchande for Our Holiday Episode of “Dine Around Downtown: Cooking at Home Edition”
This holiday season, your stomach will thank you (and the Downtown Alliance). Soon after your Thanksgiving leftovers have disappeared, host Rocco DiSpirito will welcome Michelin-starred chef & restaurateur John Fraser and beverage director Amy Racine of La Marchande (88 Wall St.) in the next installment of “Dine Around Downtown: Cooking at Home Edition” on Thursday, December 7.
In the live, 4 p.m. virtual event, Chef John will walk participants through how to make his signature Cauliflower Tarte Tatin dish, while Amy (Esquire’s 2022 “Beverage Director of the Year”) will demonstrate her CITRUS cocktail, a festive and citrusy take on the popular espresso martini.
Sign up for this free event today! Registration is required and limited, and all registrants will be able to follow along at home with digital copies of the recipes sent prior to the event. The Alliance encourages you to support World Central Kitchen, the food-security charity chosen by La Marchande.
Ambitious home chefs can upload a photo of their dish to Instagram using #DineAroundAtHome and tag @DowntownNYC to enter to WIN a 30-minute private virtual cooking class with the guest chef. Also be sure to tag @lamarchandenyc, @chefjohnfraser and @amyracine!
“Dine Around Downtown: Cooking at Home Edition” has offered exclusive peeks into twenty two Lower Manhattan kitchens since June 2020 including Delmonico’s, Seamore’s, Bar Room at the Beekman, Malibu Farm, Nobu and the Fulton. All previous episodes are available on YouTube.
