Come down to LM and enjoy classical music for a great cause!

This Sunday, September 17 from 3 PM to sunset at Battery Park City’s Wagner Park, the Financial District Lions Club’s free concert will send a message of “peace and unity” to communities worldwide as part of a tribute to the first responders who put their lives on the lines at Ground Zero on September 11, 2001.

The free concert will bring together diverse cultures in an afternoon of peace and harmony, regardless of religion, race or political views. All net proceeds from the concert will benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Listen to classical arias and Broadway musical songs performed by Lions members such as: Rachel Elizabeth Di Trejo, Jeniffer Gliere, David Robinson, Israel Lozano, Mauricio Trejo O’Reilly, Ago Giuseppe Agostaro, Bonnie Lee Sanders, Thomas Spahn, and Pablo Zinger who have all performed in Opera Houses and Theaters around the globe. For the children, a magician and Elmo will provide entertainment.

The Financial District Lions Club is a New York chapter of the Lions Club International, which was founded in 1917 to help communities in need after America entered World War I.
