SSS Design Festival 2016

By: Justin Dizon

Lower Manhattan’s fabulous creativity is all by design.

As part of NYC Design Week, the Howard Hughes Corporation and the Downtown Alliance have partnered with the Parsons School of Design and Wanted Design NYC to host the Downtown Design Festival.

Join us at the South Street Seaport for a 12-day series (from now until May 17th), featuring events and instillations that celebrate the history of design in Lower Manhattan as well as the extraordinary creativity that will flourish long into the future.  Highlights include the Downtown Dialogues speaker series, the Parsons School of Design installation and much more.

Don’t miss the Opening Night Street Party on May 9th from 6 P.M.-8 P.M. on historic, cobblestoned Fulton Street. Free and open to everyone, the event features music, live entertainment and food and beverages for purchase!
