We’re suckers for a food holiday, marketing ploy or not, and National Lobster Day on September 25 is no exception. It helps that Lower Manhattan is home to the ultimate crustacean spot, and naturally, this week they’re celebrating! Or should we say, shell-ebrating? (We’ll see ourselves out.)
Head to Luke’s at 26 William St. on Thursday, September 25 and Friday, September 26 for $20 lobster rolls (a nice deal, as they’re usually $30). You can also grab shrimp and crab rolls, chowders and sides like slaw and kettle chips. It’s a great way to mark the end of summer and catch some tasty lobster for a discount.
