Summer’s Still On At The Newly Reopened Luke’s Lobster
If you’re in denial about the onset of autumn, here’s one healthy-ish coping mechanism to consider: drowning your sorrows in fresh, summer-y seafood straight from the shores of Maine.
Classic lobster rolls, crab rolls, shrimp rolls, and cole slaw are all on offer at the Financial District location of Luke’s Lobster (26 South William Street), which finally reopened after a months-long shutdown. (The company is slowly reopening select locations, and recently brought back its Midtown East outpost as well.)
With the weather undeniably turning, the seafood shack is dishing up lobster bisque and New England clam chowder for colder days, as well as seafood by the pound and DIY lobster roll kits for those who’d prefer to cook (or look like they’ve cooked, via Instagram) at home. Either way you play it, dinner is in the bag, and might transport you back to beach season.
Current hours are Monday through Friday, 12p-7p.
