Mapping Lower Manhattan’s Growth One Project at a Time

If a picture is a worth a thousand words, the Downtown Alliance’s new development maps tell the story of our neighborhood.

These maps, updated quarterly, are a handy resource for information on both private and public construction projects in Lower Manhattan. In the past, there was no one source that provided the data contained in these maps.

Divided into four geographic zones, the maps include addresses, estimated building height, potential uses and expected completion dates for each project. The maps are divided into the following areas:

The data for the maps comes from information provided to the Alliance’s economic development and operations teams from the City’s departments of Design and Construction and Transportation along with real estate and development sites.

Work has already begun on Version 2.0 which will contain the same wealth of information while being more interactive for users.
