Ring In the Festival of Lights at the Seaport’s Hanukkah Menorah Lighting

It’s hard to believe that Hanukkah is just around the corner — maybe it’s the, uh, 70-degree November weather? — but the first night is coming up fast. The Jewish Festival of Lights begins on the evening of Sunday, November 28, and to celebrate, The Seaport is hosting a Menorah Lighting, complete with family activities and holiday treats.

Head to Fulton Street at The Seaport starting at 3 p.m. for face-painting, crafts and live music and entertainment, plus there’ll be standard Hanukkah goodies like latkes and chocolate gelt to nosh on. To cap off the event, from 4:30 to 5 p.m. there’ll be a Grand Menorah lighting, paired with a musical performance by the FiDi Hebrew School.

The event is free to attend, but you should RSVP on The Seaport’s website. Note that some activities will be held indoors, so please bring a mask. Chag sameach!
