NYC Ferry Launches New Soundview Route to the Bronx

By: NYC Ferry

Ever dream of commuting around Manhattan with zero transit delays and extra time spent on the water?

Us, too, which is why we’re thrilled to announce that Soundview Route service begins this Wednesday, August 15! The new route lets passengers travel directly from Lower Manhattan to East 90th Street and Soundview (Clason Point Park), Bronx in under one hour. Two new connection ports at E. 34th St. and Wall St./Pier 11 grant free transfers between existing NYC Ferry lines to Astoria, East River, and Lower East Side (both) as well as to South Brooklyn and Rockaway ferries (Wall St./Pier 11 only).

Why NYC Ferry?

NYC Ferry offers dependable, convenient and relaxing transportation around the city. Our ferries feature on-board concessions, charging stations, tables, on-board bike racks, stroller space and baby changing stations for its riders to commute in comfort.

How can I purchase a NYC Ferry ticket?

NYC Ferry offers two passenger ticket types: a single ride pass or a 30-day pass—both with options to travel with a bicycle. Tickets may be purchased through the NYC Ferry App, website or at all NYC Ferry Landings. NYC Ferry is also a partner of Commuter Benefits by Wage Works which encourages commuters to purchase tickets with their commuter benefit Master or Visa card.
