Celebrate Passover In Lower Manhattan With The Jewish Learning Experience

Just as we did last year, many New Yorkers will forgo big, family-filled Passover seders for safer, socially-distant gatherings. If you’re sticking around Lower Manhattan this year, the Jewish Learning Experience has some options for you.

For an outdoor, in-person option, JLE is hosting a Community Outdoor Seder for the second night of Passover at the Rooftop Garden (128 Pearl Street) on March 28; the seder will be preceded by a children’s seder, also at the Rooftop Garden.

And if you’d prefer to read the Haggadah at home, you can opt for a Seder-2-Go kid, complete with a seder guide, ke’arah placemat, labeled containers for the seder plate items, Hebrew/English Haggadah, matzah, matzah bag, and a plastic frog so you can play out the 10 plagues in real time. Be sure to place your order by March 21.

Full list of events and services below:

Thursday, March 18 – 6:30pm – Interactive Passover Storytime and Ventriloquist

Sunday, March 28, 4:00pm – Children’s Seder
