Picture Lower Manhattan: Equitable Building Spreads Holiday Cheer

12/11/2012 in

This National Historic Landmark owned by Silverstein Properties, and home to the Downtown Alliance, is all dressed up and ringing in the holiday spirit with a beautiful wreath above its main entrance and a large decorated tree in its lobby – which also means that their annual toy drive has begun.

Every year, 120 Broadway has a toy drive on behalf of the Hamilton-Madison House – collecting new toys under the lobby holiday tree from people who work in the building, and donating them to less-fortunate children just in time for the holidays.  This year, they are also conducting a food drive for City Harvest and  a coat drive for New York Cares to benefit those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.
